Victorian meeting and trial transfers
11 Aug 2017 | Racing Victoria
Racing Victoria (RV) advised on Friday that the Swan Hill race meeting scheduled for Tuesday, 29 August has been transferred to Mildura due to a recent heavy racing schedule at Swan Hill.

Four race meetings were conducted at Swan Hill throughout June and July, before it held 10 races on a heavy track on Monday, 7 August.

As a result, RV has decided to transfer the meeting to Mildura, to allow time for Swan Hill to recover prior to the next race meeting on Friday, 15 September.

Nominations for the meeting close Wednesday, 23 August at 12 noon and acceptances at 11am Friday, 25 August.

A decision has also been made to transfer trials scheduled for Monday, 21 August at Cranbourne to Traralgon.

As was previously advised, the course proper at the Cranbourne Training Centre (CTC) has been used throughout winter to compensate for works being carried out to upgrade drainage on the inside grass track at the Training Centre.

As a result, RV, in consultation with the CTC, have decided to transfer the trials.

Nominations for the Traralgon trials will close at 12 noon Wednesday, 16 August.
