Jack Martin (Toorak Cowboy) - pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding under the provisions of AR137(a), the carelessness being that he permitted his mount to shift in near the 1300m when insufficiently clear of Yu Long Sheng Hui which was taken in off its course, resulting in runners to its inside, Enigman and Missile Boom, both being hampered when severely crowded for room.  Jack Martin had his permit to ride in races suspended for a period to commence at midnight July 4th and to expire at midnight July 14th, a total of ten race meetings.  In assessing penalty, Stewards took into account his guilty plea and good record and that the careless riding was in the mid-range.
