Boss suspended for two days
04 Dec 2017 | Singapore Stewards

RACE 3 [TF1308]

At the conclusion of an Inquiry on Tuesday, 28 November 2017, Jockey G Boss, the rider of LIM'S ROYAL, was found guilty to a charge of careless riding under MRA Rule 44(9)(a)(ii) in that whilst riding LIM'S ROYAL in Race 3 at the Singapore Turf Club Meeting on Sunday, 15 October 2017, making the turn into the straight, he allowed his mount to shift outwards, when insufficiently clear, thereby hampering FRAGRANCE EMPIRE (App CK Ng) and ROCK EAGLE (K A'Isisuhairi).

When deciding on penalty, the Stewards took into account his record, the degree of interference and carelessness and submissions from Jockey Boss that he has been engaged to ride at the Singapore Race Meetings on Friday, 01 December 2017 and Sunday, 03 December 2017.

The Stewards determined to suspend his licence to ride in races and acting under MRA Rule 48(5), the commencement of the suspension was deferred to begin on Monday, 04 December 2017 until Sunday, 07 January 2018 both dates inclusive (two Singapore Race Days). He was advised of his Right of Appeal.
