Selections preview for Te Rapa
21 Nov 2010 | by Jeff Dore

PREVIEW

SUNDAY November 21 2010

Cambridge Jockey Club at Te Rapa
Showery and Good2 (2.0 – 2.2)
Rail: out 9 metres

Horses previewed in numerical order

Race 4             Rating 70 2100m

1 PEACE LILLY – Jason Collett
During meetings one day apart at Gisborne she finished second on the first day then did best to win a duel on the second day. She remains in the same grade, produced a good performance for fourth here three starts ago, and should prove competitive again if she has gone the right way since.

6 CAROLINA BELLA – Opie Bosson
Much improved performance second-up from spell when making good ground along the inner for fourth to impressive winner Shantaine at Tauranga over 1600m on Good2. She won her Maiden by a big margin with this rider aboard, and appears suited stepping up to a middle distance for the first time.

10 THE GODDAUGHTER – Mark Du Plessis
She impressed winning her Maiden at Ellerslie over a mile on good footing with this rider aboard in February, and indicated when finding the line near the rail behind subsequent winner The Terminator at Pukekohe second-up from a spell that she is improving. Stepping to 2100m should suit, as too the addition of blinkers.
