NZB Breeze Ups now available Online
27 Oct 2010 | New Zealand Bloodstock Ltd

Breeze Ups for New Zealand Bloodstock's Ready to Run Sale of 2YOs are now available to be viewed online at www.nzb.co.nz.

A total of 444 horses breezed up at the Te Rapa racecourse on 18 & 19 October, with the clips showing each horse galloping over the final 200 metres of the home straight.

The NZB website shows each Breeze Up clip with the pedigree information for each Lot, including significant pedigree updates since the catalogue was sent to print, the Breeze Up time, track and weather conditions, penetrometer reading and the day each horse breezed.
This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Karaka Ready to Run Sale and with 494 lots, 200 more than last year, the sale is celebrating its largest catalogue since 2001.

With an impressive Group 1 graduates list, the Ready to Run Sale has rapidly made a name for itself as one to rival even the leading yearling sales around Australasia, with three new Group 1 winners last season alone from a tally of 10 in just the last four years.

Some of the Ready to Run Group 1 winning graduates include the dual Group 1 winner of the Coolmore Classic Eskimo Queen (Shinko King x Cold Type), Military Move (Volksraad x All Night Party), winner of last season's Group 1 New Zealand Derby, Able One (Cape Cross x Gardenia), two-time winner of the Group 1 HKJC Champions Mile, and Vonusti (Ustinov x Reasonably), winner of the Group 1 WRC Telegraph Handicap.

The 2010 catalogue boasts more than 40 full or half relatives to stakes winners, ten half-siblings to Group 1 winners and progeny of 125 stallions throughout Australasia including Commands, Encosta de Lago, Flying Spur, Fastnet Rock, Keeper, More Than Ready, O'Reilly, Pentire, Stravinsky, Volksraad and Zabeel.
