WINX (AUS) , who took the TAB Turnbull Stakes (G1) to win her 28th consecutive race, retains her top placing in the eighth edition of the LONGINES World’s Best Racehorse Rankings for 2018.

ROARING LION (USA)  also won again, this time beating familiar rival SAXON WARRIOR (JPN)  in the QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes (G1) during Longines Irish Champions Weekend.
Meanwhile, off of one race in 11 months, ENABLE (GB)  became the seventh horse to win the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe (G1) in back-to-back years and just the eighth to win it twice. She held off SEA OF CLASS (IRE)  at the wire, while CLOTH OF STARS (IRE)  was third and WALDGEIST (GB)  checked-in fourth.
The highest rated newcomer to this edition of the rankings is BEAUTY GENERATION (123) [NZ], who won the Celebration Cup Handicap (G3) in Hong Kong in his first start since his victory in the Champions Mile (G1) this April.
KEW GARDENS (IRE)  joins the rankings after his win the William Hill St Leger Stakes (G1), and HARTNELL (GB)  is rated equally after taking the TAB Epsom Handicap (G1).
Additionally, GRUNT (NZ)  impressed in the PFD Food Services Makybe Diva Stakes (G1), while ROY H (USA)  won the Santa Anita Sprint Championship Stakes (G1) to join the rankings.
