Passing the 1100 Metres, FORTUNE HAPPINESS was momentarily awkwardly placed inside the heels of CORRE RAPIDO.
At the 750 Metres, RUN MOOCHI, which throughout the race travelled wide and without cover, got its head on the side and lay in, resulting in its rider having to direct RUN MOOCHI out to prevent tightening to MUTUAL JOY.
After the 600 Metres, WINNERS BROTHER raced tight between SUPREME WITNESS and FIRE AND GOLD which shifted out.
Approaching the 300 Metres, MUTUAL JOY was steadied when crowded for room between FORTUNE HAPPINESS which shifted out before being directed back in to relieve the tightening and RUN MOOCHI which got its head on the side and lay in marginally.
KING MORTAR lost its left front plate near the 300 Metres.
A veterinary inspection of SUPREME WITNESS immediately following the race found the horse to be displaying heat stress. Before being allowed to race again, SUPREME WITNESS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
FORTUNE HAPPINESS and EXPONENTS were sent for sampling.

Race:2 (12) CAINE HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 4 1600 m

SPEEDY WALLY began only fairly.
NEW ELEGANCE shifted out at the start and bumped THE FULL BLOOM.
Approaching and passing the 1400 Metres, SPEEDY WALLY lay in and was awkwardly placed close to the heels of GARLIC YEAH.
After obtaining a forward position from the outside barrier, INDIGENOUS STAR proved very difficult to settle when being steadied approaching and passing the 1400 Metres.
In the early part of the Straight, SUNNY POWER had some difficulty obtaining clear running.
When being directed to the outside of NEW ELEGANCE after the 200 Metres, SPEEDY WALLY commenced to shift out further towards AMAZING AGILITY, resulting in its rider having to stop riding and straighten.
Throughout the race, THE FULL BLOOM travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, A Sanna (GARLIC YEAH) reported that his mount lay in throughout the race.
CALIFORNIA LEGEND and SUCH A HAPPINESS were sent for sampling.

Race:3 (13) HOLLYWOOD HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 5 1400 m

After being loaded into the barriers, RED BRICK FIGHTER became fractious, lunged at the front gate and then momentarily sat down. RED BRICK FIGHTER was removed from the barriers and examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. Before being allowed to race again, RED BRICK FIGHTER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test. When RED BRICK FIGHTER was removed from the barriers, BLAZING PARTNERS was also removed due to its prior record of fractious behaviour in the barriers.
ENORMOUS HONOUR was slow to begin. After the race, M F Poon reported that ENORMOUS HONOUR would not stretch out at any stage of the race. A veterinary inspection of ENORMOUS HONOUR immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, ENORMOUS HONOUR will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
LOTUS BREEZE was crowded for room on jumping between BIG BULLY which shifted out after beginning awkwardly and FLYING NOBLE which shifted in.
From the outside barriers, ASSOCIATION FANS and GALLANT SPIRIT were shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
In the early stages, MONEY MARSHAL got its head on the side and lay in and then bumped with BLAZING PARTNERS near the 1350 Metres.
Near the 1050 Metres, GALLANT SPIRIT was momentarily awkwardly placed inside the heels of ASSOCIATION FANS which got its head on the side and lay in.
Near the 750 Metres, BLAZING PARTNERS was momentarily eased away from the heels of CAPTAIN BOSS which was racing tight inside SUREWIN.
Near the 450 Metres, CAPTAIN BOSS became unbalanced when momentarily crowded for room inside RED BRICK FIGHTER which shifted in before being directed out to relieve the tightening. BLAZING PARTNERS, which was following CAPTAIN BOSS, was awkwardly placed behind that horse for a short distance.
In the early part of the Straight, MONEY MARSHAL lay in under pressure.
Also in the early part of the Straight, ASSOCIATION FANS lay in and proved difficult to ride.
JOY MASTER had difficulty obtaining clear running in the early part of the Straight and after initially being shifted towards the inside of BLAZING PARTNERS after the 400 Metres was then shifted out approaching the 300 Metres. JOY MASTER was then badly held up for clear running behind RED BRICK FIGHTER which, when giving ground, shifted out. This resulted in JOY MASTER being checked away from the heels of RED BRICK FIGHTER passing the 300 Metres and shifting out and brushing SUREWIN.
B Shinn (FLYING NOBLE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that passing the 300 Metres he permitted his mount to shift in when not clear of MONEY MARSHAL, resulting in that horse being badly hampered and taken in across the rightful running of SUREWIN, causing that horse to be severely checked, clip the heels of MONEY MARSHAL and to blunder. B Shinn was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Wednesday, 18 September 2019 and to expire on Thursday, 26 September 2019 on which day he may resume race riding (3 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards took into consideration the significant interference suffered by SUREWIN and the high degree of carelessness exhibited by Jockey Shinn in this incident.
After the race, an endoscopic examination was conducted on GALLANT SPIRIT at the request of Trainer K H Ting. The Veterinary Surgeon reported that this examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, GALLANT SPIRIT will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of JOY MASTER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
A veterinary inspection of SUREWIN immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BIG BULLY, LOTUS BREEZE and CAPTAIN BOSS were sent for sampling.

Race:4 (14) THE TUNG WAH GROUP OF HOSPITALS CHALLENGE CUP (HANDICAP) (Sec1) Class 4 1200 m

GENERAL CASTLEDALE was withdrawn on 6.9.19 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (fever) and was replaced by Standby Declared Starter FARM BUMPER (K C Leung). Before being allowed to race again, GENERAL CASTLEDALE will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
From wide barriers, GALAXY RACER and MASTER ALBERT were steadied and shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
After travelling a short distance, AURORA PEGASUS was momentarily crowded for room between SPEEDY OPTIMIST and CALLING THE SHOTS.
After beginning only fairly, MOMENTUM HAPPY was ridden along from the outside barrier, however, was slow to muster speed and near the 1100 Metres was steadied to obtain cover.
Making the turn near the 900 Metres, SUPERB AGILITY got its head on the side and lay out towards the heels of MISCHIEVOUS SUNDAE.
Approaching the 800 Metres, MISCHIEVOUS SUNDAE was steadied when crowded for room between SHOUSON and AURORA PEGASUS which was taken in by CALLING THE SHOTS (G van Niekerk) which shifted in when awkwardly placed behind SPEEDY OPTIMIST which at this time was being steadied in an attempt to obtain cover. G van Niekerk was advised that whilst there were some circumstances to this incident, nonetheless, in the opinion of the Stewards, he should have made an earlier attempt to shift to the outside of SPEEDY OPTIMIST to prevent horses being crowded for room to his inside. G van Niekerk was severely reprimanded and told to exercise far greater care in similar circumstances. When MISCHIEVOUS SUNDAE was hampered, SUPERB AGILITY, which was following, was checked away from the heels of that horse in consequence.
Throughout the race, SPEEDY OPTIMIST travelled wide and without cover and making the Home Turn got its head on the side and lay out.
Over the concluding stages, SUPERB AGILITY was awkwardly placed close to the heels of FARM BUMPER.
When questioned regarding the performance of CALLING THE SHOTS, G van Niekerk stated that it was intended to lead if possible. He said despite being ridden along in the early stages, CALLING THE SHOTS did not show enough speed to be able to cross runners to its inside and for this reason after the 1100 Metres he commenced to steady CALLING THE SHOTS to obtain cover. He said after being awkwardly placed close to the heels of SPEEDY OPTIMIST after the 800 Metres, CALLING THE SHOTS was required to race further back in the field than had been intended. He said his mount did not travel strongly at any stage of the race and he was required to commence to ride it along after the 600 Metres to maintain its position. He added he continued to ride CALLING THE SHOTS along rounding the Home Turn, however, the horse did not respond to his riding and then was disappointing in its failure to finish off the race. A veterinary inspection of CALLING THE SHOTS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
After the race, J Moreira was not able to offer any explanation for the disappointing performance of SUPREME PLUS. He said he was able to obtain a forward position as instructed and SUPREME PLUS had travelled satisfactorily in the early and middle stages. He said however that SUPREME PLUS came under pressure at the 500 Metres when racing outside the eventual winner BIG FORTUNE and after this did not finish off the race. A veterinary inspection of SUPREME PLUS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
BIG FORTUNE and AURORA PEGASUS were sent for sampling.

Race:5 (15) NEW STREET HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 4 1200 m

The start of the race was delayed due to PROMISE KEPT having its left front plate refitted. PROMISE KEPT was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race.
As the start was effected, JOYFUL CONTENDER bounded in the air, resulting in its rider, M Chadwick, becoming unbalanced. A short distance after the start, JOYFUL CONTENDER again threw its head up. In this incident, M Chadwick was struck in the head by JOYFUL CONTENDER. After the race, M Chadwick was examined by the Chief Medical Officer and passed fit to fulfil his remaining race riding engagements. Before being allowed to race again, JOYFUL CONTENDER will be required to perform satisfactorily in a stalls test.
SKY TREASURE stumbled at the start.
TOUCH OF LUCK shifted in at the start and bumped the hindquarters of GRAND HARBOUR.
PROMISE KEPT shifted in at the start and bumped EVER STRONG which in turn shifted in and bumped GUNNAR. After this, from a wide barrier, PROMISE KEPT was steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
Despite being vigorously ridden in the early stages, EVER STRONG failed to muster speed.
Making the first turn near the 700 Metres, TOUCH OF LUCK shifted out when awkwardly placed behind DOLLAR REWARD, resulting in GENEROUS HEART racing tight inside KELMIMI WINS.
Near the 600 Metres, KELMIMI WINS raced tight outside GENEROUS HEART.
Near the 500 Metres, GUNNAR was bumped by GRAND HARBOUR (Apprentice K H Chan) which attempted to improve outside HAPPY HAPPY STAR were there was insufficient room. Apprentice Chan was advised to exercise due care when attempting to improve in similar circumstances. DOLLAR REWARD, which was following GRAND HARBOUR, raced close to the heels of that horse in consequence.
Throughout the race, SKY TREASURE travelled wide and without cover.
After the race, A Sanna reported that KELMIMI WINS made an abnormal breathing noise. An endoscopic examination of KELMIMI WINS did not reveal any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, KELMIMI WINS will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
A veterinary inspection of SKY TREASURE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
A veterinary inspection of GRAND HARBOUR and JOYFUL CONTENDER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
TOUCH OF LUCK, DOLLAR REWARD and GUNNAR were sent for sampling.

Race:6 (16) PO HING HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 4 1400 m

MY POWER began only fairly and was then ridden along to obtain a forward position.
On jumping, CHAPARRAL STAR was steadied away from the heels of DIAMOND LEGEND due to both horses shifting ground.
PHENOMENAL and DESTIN bumped at the start, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced and DESTIN shifting out and bumping CITY LEGEND, causing DESTIN to become further unbalanced and for CITY LEGEND to be hampered.
WITNESS HUNTER and IMPECCABLE FELLOW bumped at the start. WITNESS HUNTER then shifted in and bumped WINNING WARRIOR which shifted out. WINNING WARRIOR consequently became unbalanced and shifted out, causing WITNESS HUNTER to be bumped and taken out by IMPECCABLE FELLOW. After this, IMPECCABLE FELLOW was shifted across behind runners from a wide barrier.
From a wide barrier, HAPPY HOUR was steadied and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
After the 900 Metres, WINNING WARRIOR was left racing wide and without cover.
Passing the 900 Metres, PHENOMENAL was momentarily eased away from the heels of SPARKLING KNIGHT.
Near the 650 Metres, PHENOMENAL got its head on the side and shifted out marginally away from the heels of SPARKLING KNIGHT. PHENOMENAL was then taken wider when DESTIN improved into tight running between PHENOMENAL and VILLA FIONN. When PHENOMENAL was taken out, WINNING WARRIOR was taken wider again.
Passing the 500 Metres, WINNING WARRIOR was bumped by PHENOMENAL which got its head on the side and shifted out away from DESTIN.
At the entrance to the Straight, SAVVY SEVEN was momentarily tightened for room between WINNING WARRIOR and PHENOMENAL which continued to lay out.
Passing the 75 Metres, WITNESS HUNTER was inconvenienced when bumped by CITY LEGEND which shifted in before being corrected by its rider.
M L Yeung (THIS ONE’S FOR YOU) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that over the concluding stages he permitted his mount to shift out when not sufficiently clear of DIAMOND LEGEND, causing that horse to be checked and to lose the running to which it was rightfully entitled. M L Yeung was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Wednesday, 25 September 2019 and to expire on Wednesday, 2 October 2019 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards took into account Jockey Yeung’s good race riding record.
When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of MY POWER, G van Niekerk stated that after beginning only fairly, he had to make some use of the horse in the early stages to obtain a forward position as he was instructed to lead the race. He said MY POWER quickly gathered speed and he was able to hold the lead on the rail approaching the 1200 Metres. He said MY POWER would not relax due to a number of runners being positioned to its outside approaching the 1000 Metres and as there were a number of horses attempting to obtain a forward position, the race in the early stages was run quicker than hoped. He said MY POWER did not travel strongly in the middle stages and after coming under pressure in the early part of the Straight weakened noticeably over the latter stages. He added that from his experience with MY POWER including the manner in which the horse performed in a barrier trial in the lead up to today’s race when ridden by him, he was of the view that the horse may not have been suited by today’s "Good to Firm” racing surface. A veterinary inspection of MY POWER immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in its trachea and also found the horse to have sustained a minor laceration to the right hock. The performance of MY POWER, favourite for today’s race, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, MY POWER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
When questioned, B Shinn stated that he was instructed to ride CITY LEGEND positively in the early stages and it was anticipated that the horse may be able to obtain a position in midfield. He said after shifting in to race behind DESTIN after the 1200 Metres, the tempo of the race was quite strong and he felt that he would have had to make use of CITY LEGEND to continue to hold its position behind DESTIN. He said as he did not believe this would be in the best interests of CITY LEGEND, he did not continue to endeavour to maintain its position which allowed WITNESS HUNTER the opportunity to shift in to race behind DESTIN and in advance of CITY LEGEND. Having considered the sectional times of the relevant stages of the race, the Stewards accepted Jockey Shinn’s explanation.
MY POWER, DESTIN and CITY LEGEND were sent for sampling.

Race:7 (17) PO YEE HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 3 1200 m

BETHANY began only fairly, shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of INVINCIBLE MISSILE.
KING OF HEARTS and SOLAR WAI WAI were crowded for room on jumping between FANTASTIC FABIO and TRIUMPHANT ARCH, both of which shifted ground.
From the outside barriers, CANTSTOPTHEFEELING and TOP MILITARY were both shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
Also from a wide barrier, ENDEARING was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
SOLAR WAI WAI raced wide and without cover from the 700 Metres until near the 500 Metres.
Approaching the 150 Metres, KING OF HEARTS was bumped by ENDEARING which attempted to shift to the inside of VICTORIAM to obtain clear running after being steadied away from the heels of that horse. After being disappointed for this run, ENDEARING was then directed to the outside of VICTORIAM. When ENDEARING shifted out, TOP MILITARY was directed out away from the heels of that horse.
Over the concluding stages, KING OF HEARTS raced in restricted room between VICTORIAM and BETHANY (H W Lai) which shifted out under pressure. H W Lai was advised to exercise more care in similar circumstances. Because of this, KING OF HEARTS was not able to be ridden out all the way to the end of the race.
When questioned, C Schofield (CANTSTOPTHEFEELING) stated that rounding the Home Turn he was able to follow ENDEARING. He said after shifting CANTSTOPTHEFEELING to the outside of runners at the entrance to the Straight, the horse commenced to hang in behind SOLAR WAI WAI. He said after shifting towards the outside of that horse approaching the 300 Metres, CANTSTOPTHEFEELING continued to hang in and for this reason was very awkwardly placed outside the heels of SOLAR WAI WAI until near the 150 Metres. He said due to the manner in which CANTSTOPTHEFEELING was hanging in, he was not able to ride the horse out properly at this stage of the race. He added that he recommended to the connections that they consider adding a ring bit to the horse’s gear in its future starts.
Apprentice K H Chan (TRIUMPHANT ARCH) was fined $3,000 for improper use of the whip in that he raised weal marks over the horse’s right flank. In assessing penalty, the Stewards took into account the circumstances of this case including that Apprentice Chan is a 10 lb claiming apprentice jockey.
When questioned regarding the disappointing performance of VICTORIAM, A Domeyer stated that he had ridden the horse in a turf gallop in the lead up to today’s race which was very good and which followed a similarly pleasing barrier trial. He said in today’s race VICTORIAM was reluctant to proceed to the barriers which is unusual for the horse as it had not acted in this manner when previously ridden by him. He said in its wins last season VICTORIAM travelled into a forward position without having to be asked to do so whereas today he had to ride the horse along in the early stages in order to cross runners to his inside. He said after shifting in to race outside FANTASTIC FABIO near the 800 Metres, VICTORIAM travelled only fairly. He said he asked VICTORIAM to improve near the 600 Metres to prevent FANTASTIC FABIO from being able to shift to the outside of the leader, however, VICTORIAM lay out away from FANTASTIC FABIO and for this reason FANTASTIC FABIO was able to improve its position to the outside of TRIUMPHANT ARCH which resulted in VICTORIAM having to race in a three wide position after the 600 Metres. He added after urging his mount along rounding the Home Turn, VICTORIAM did not quicken as it had previously for him and then failed to finish off the race. He said, in his opinion, VICTORIAM was very disappointing in today’s race, particularly given the manner in which it finished off last season and the manner in which it worked in the lead up to today’s race. The performance of VICTORIAM, a winner of its last two starts and favourite for today’s race, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, VICTORIAM will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of VICTORIAM immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
VICTORIAM, INVINCIBLE MISSILE and TRIUMPHANT ARCH were sent for sampling.

Race:8 (18) PO YAN HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 2 1200 m

CALIFORNIA ARCHER began only fairly.
YEE CHEONG BABY shifted out at the start and bumped ELUSIVE STATE.
From a wide barrier, DRAGON GENERAL was shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
In the early stages, LOVING A BOOM was steadied to obtain cover.
After racing wide and without cover, PICK NUMBER ONE shifted out rounding the Home Turn and bumped RAGING BLITZKRIEG, causing both horses to become unbalanced. After the race, G van Niekerk reported that after becoming unbalanced in this incident, PICK NUMBER ONE did not feel comfortable in its action in the Straight. A veterinary inspection of PICK NUMBER ONE immediately following the race confirmed that horse to be a 'roarer” which had previously been reported.
Throughout the race, both LIMITLESS and RAGING BLITZKRIEG travelled wide and without cover.
The performance of LIMITLESS, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, LIMITLESS will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
C Schofield (SUNNY BOY) was fined $5,000 for improper use of the whip in that he raised weal marks over the horse’s right flank.
After the race, Z Purton reported that after having to ride YEE CHEONG BABY along to lead, the horse appeared to travel satisfactorily in the middle stages, however, came under pressure in the early part of the Straight and did not finish off the race as strongly as it had in its previous starts at Happy Valley. He said the manner in which YEE CHEONG BABY did not finish off the race indicated to him that it did not handle the pressure of today’s race when racing on the All Weather Track for the first time. A veterinary inspection of YEE CHEONG BABY immediately following the race including an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Before being allowed to race again, YEE CHEONG BABY will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
YEE CHEONG BABY, BIG TIME BABY and ELUSIVE STATE were sent for sampling.

Race:9 (19) SEYMOUR HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 3 1200 m

COBY OPPA was withdrawn on raceday morning by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (fever). Before being allowed to race again, COBY OPPA will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
MR GENUINE shifted out at the start and bumped SILVER FIG.
Shortly after the start, MEGA HEART raced in restricted room between ALCARI and JOYFUL MOMENTS.
From wide barriers, MOMENTUM GALAXY, YOUNG LEGEND an JOYFUL MOMENTS were all steadied in the early stages and shifted across behind runners to obtain cover.
Making the first turn near the 700 Metres, YOUNG LEGEND commenced to travel keenly and got its head up when being checked away from the heels of MEGA HEART and MOMENTUM GALAXY.
M F Poon (MR GENUINE) pleaded guilty to a charge of careless riding [Rule 100(1)] in that approaching the 300 Metres he permitted his mount to shift out when not clear of MASSIVE POCKET, causing that horse to be checked and to lose the running to which it was rightfully entitled. M F Poon was suspended from riding in races for a period to commence on Sunday, 15 September 2019 and to expire on Thursday, 19 September 2019 on which day he may resume race riding (2 Hong Kong racedays). In assessing penalty, the Stewards took into account Jockey Poon’s good race riding record.
Throughout the race, ALCARI travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground. The performance of ALCARI, which finished tailed out, was considered unacceptable. Before being allowed to race again, ALCARI will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination. A veterinary inspection of ALCARI immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of YOUNG LEGEND immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WINNER SUPREME, SILVER FIG and UTOPIA LIFE were sent for sampling.

Race:10 (20) TAI PING SHAN HANDICAP (Sec1) Class 3 1400 m

LOBO’S LEGEND began awkwardly and lost ground.
GREAT TREASURE shifted out at the start and bumped the hindquarters of EVER LAUGH.
From the outside barrier, LUCKY TIME got its head up on a number of occasions when being steadied to be shifted across behind runners in the early stages to obtain cover.
When being steadied to obtain cover in the early stages, HUANGSHAN shifted out and bumped the hindquarters of COOL TEAM which also shifted in. This resulted in HUANGSHAN becoming unbalanced and losing ground.
Near the 1050 Metres, I DO was steadied away from the heels of FOLLOW ME (J Moreira) which shifted in when not properly clear. J Moreira was reprimanded and advised to ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground in similar circumstances.
Approaching the 300 Metres, COBY BOY was directed to the outside of COMFORT LIFE to obtain clear running. After the race, B Shinn was not able to offer any explanation for the disappointing performance of COBY BOY. He said after being placed under pressure in the early part of the Straight, COBY BOY finished off the race only one-paced over the concluding stages.
After the 200 Metres, COOL TEAM shifted out under pressure.
CRAIG’S STAR, COOL TEAM and LOBO’S LEGEND were sent for sampling.

General

1.

After the running of Race 3, the track classification for the turf course was officially changed from "Good” to "Good to Firm”. This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective. As a consequence of this, the official results will show Race 3 being run on a track rated "Good to Firm”.

2. Additional Veterinary Reports from Sha Tin Racemeeting on 1 September 2019

Subsequent official veterinary inspections (without endoscopy) of GOOD RUNNERS WAY, REGENCY GEM, LEISURED FEET, ADONIS, KWAI CHUNG ELITE, SEASONS BLOOM, FALCON TURBO, CALIFORNIA GUNGHO, LUCKY GUY, MR MAGELLAN, SUNSHINE WARRIOR, CASIMIRO, KA YING MASTER, DANCING FIGHTER, GOLDEN SIXTY, MR CROISSANT, GOLD CHEST, FAST MOST FURIOUS, MULTIMILLION, SUPER JUNIOR, CORDYCEPS and WORLD FAMOUS revealed no apparent abnormality.

3.

HAVE FUN TOGETHER (B84), trained by Mr C Fownes, was diagnosed as having a strain of the left front suspensory ligament on 20 August 2019 and, in accordance with established practice, was issued with an official veterinary examination requirement. A subsequent examination and associated ultrasound scan performed on 28 August 2019 revealed that the injury was not as significant as originally diagnosed. Accordingly, the official veterinary examination requirement has been downgraded to a requirement that a clinical veterinary clearance must be obtained before being allowed to race again.
