Golden Slipper meeting to go ahead - track Heavy 10

The Rosehill track has been rated as a Heavy 10 for the Golden Slipper meeting today after 27mm of rain overnight and the Australian Turf Club has reported that the meeting will go ahead.

Further rain is forecast throughout the day.

The Parramatta forecast for the rest of Saturday:

Max 24 Showers. Possible rainfall: 10 to 30 mm Chance of any rain: 100%

Sydney area

Cloudy. Very high (near 100%) chance of showers. Winds southeasterly 25 to 40 km/h decreasing to 15 to 25 km/h in the evening.
