Sydney Spring Carnival weather watch

Sydney's forecast leading into the George Main Stakes meeting at Randwick on Saturday - over 30mm of rain has fallen over the Sydney coastal region, which includes Randwick, to 5.00pm Tuesday with further rain expected throughout Tuesday night. The Randwick track was rated a Soft 6 at 8.26am on Tuesday morning after 12mm of rain so it will be into the Heavy range by Wednesday.
