Racing NSW advises that Murwillumbah is currently rated a Heavy 10 ahead of its scheduled race meeting on Tuesday.
The track has received 20mls of rain over the past 24 hours with a total of 77mls for the week.
"We galloped two horses over the track this morning and at this stage, with a fine day, it is safe for racing," said Racing NSW Chairman of Stewards (Northern Rivers region), Mark Holloway.
"There is no problem racing at the moment but with further rain forecast, we will closely monitor the weather and look at a further track inspection on Tuesday morning."
In other weaher related news due to continued wet weather the Rosehill Barrier trials scheduled for Tuesday, 19th March 2019 have been CANCELLED.
The next set of ATC barrier trials will be conducted on Friday, 22nd March 2019 at Warwick Farm with nominations closing at 2.00pm tomorrow (Tuesday).
Additional heats will be scheduled on the Pro-Ride track if excessive nominations are received.
