Racing Victoria stewards' advised on Friday morning that both Loving Gaby and Shotmaker have been passsed fit to race on the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield on Saturday.
Both two-year-old's had displayed signs of lameness on their right foreleg's when inspected on Thursday.
Stewards' also advised that as precaution they will be re-examined on arrival at Caulfield on Saturday.
As at mid-Friday morning Loving Gaby has drifted with TAB.com.au from $5.00 out to $6.00 and Shotmaker has remained in $14.00.
Earlier report Thursday - The Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes $5.00 favourite Loving Gaby is in doubt of starting in the Caulfield 1200m two-year-old feature on Saturday after Racing Victoria veterinarians found the filly to be displaying signs of lameness in her right foreleg.
The Maher and Eustace trained I Am Invincible filly was examined on Thursday morning and will be re-examined on Thursday as will the Mick Price trained Shotmaker who was found to be displaying the same lameness.
Loving Gaby opened in the market at $4.80 before moving out to $5.00 on Thursday. The filly on the Group 3 Chairman's Stakes on February 2nd. On Saturday Damien Lane rides with barrier 12.
Shotmaker, a colt by Shooting To Win, was second in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude on February 9th and he is at $14.00 with TAB.com.au. Hugh Bowman rides with barrier 14.
