Racing NSW stewards' advise that the meeting at Kembla Grange today, Saturday, has been postponed with surface water on the track following further rain overnight and more rain forecast today.
Updated 7.30am - The Gold Coast TC race meeting at Aquis Park has been abandoned due to the state of the track following very heavy overnight rainfall.
QRIC has advised that the club has applied for, and been granted permission to, conduct a phantom betting meeting at the venue.
The Tuncurry meeting is also postponed due to the state of the track.
Earlier report Friday - Racing NSW stewards' will conduct a track inspection at Kembla Grange on Saturday morning after 32mm of rain has fallen over the past 24 hours with the current NSW rain front. The track is rated on Friday as a Heavy 9.
The latest forecast for the region issued at 4.25pm Friday has a high (80%) chance of showers, possibly heavy at times, with 15mm to 40mm of rain possible and a temperature of 21c.
