“A bit of travelling down to Melbourne won’t do him any harm.”
”He’s returned in very good order.”
“I’d say he’s had a better preliminary than last time, not that there was any problem, just more solid and consistent.”

Race 6 – BECK Probuild Quezette Stakes-Group 3  (3yoF SWP)       (1100m)

EXHILARATES (AUS) - 3yo Filly by Snitzel (AUS) out of Samaready (AUS)

“It’s a real pleasure to be returning a Magic Millions winner to racing and I’m looking forward to seeing her step out.”
“She is the sharper of the two fillies.”

PIN SEC (AUS) - 3yo Filly by Lonhro (AUS) out of Moderate (AUS)
“I’m looking forward to seeing her when she gets out to 1,400m, but she’ll still be okay fresh.”
“We’ve decided to come down to Melbourne so we can diversify. We’re prudently splitting them up a bit at this stage of their preparation.”

Race 7 - Regal Roller Stakes-Listed   (4yo+)       (1200m)

HAUNTED (AUS) - 5yo Gelding by Lonhro (AUS) out of Seances (AUS)
“The blinkers go back on after a couple of runs without them.”
“He’s enjoyed being trained back at the farm.”

Race 8 -  P.B. Lawrence Stakes-Group 2  (WFA)       (1400m)

HARTNELL (GB) - 8yo Gelding by Authorized (IRE) out of Debonnaire (GB)
“This is his third time in the Lawrence, he’s won it and run second in it, and he knows what’s going on.”
“Even though he’s a bit older now, he’s thriving.
“He’s shown us that he’s ready for another campaign and I have no doubt that he’s ready to run a good race.”
“I’m keen to see how far off Mystic Journey he is.”
“She’s the Cox Plate favourite and we’ll get a wonderful guide on where he stands.”
(On the horse’s place in a stable where he’s the greatest money winner and eight-time Stakes winner):
“He’s a veteran who loves the feeling of being boss.”
“He has a presence that makes the young horses actually look up to him.”
