The Australian Turf Club has fields of nine apiece for the feature handicaps at Rosehill on Saturday, the $125,000, November Handicap (1400m) and the $125,000, November Topaz (1900m).
The Waller stable has accepted with the inform Exoteric (GB) for the Topaz. The six-year-old Champs Elysees gelding has won his last two races, including in the listed Tattersalls Cup over 140m at Randwick on October 20th.
Exoteric has 57k and barrier two. The top-weight is the Kris Less trained Sense Of Occasion with 61.5kg and barrier six.
The Topaz is Race 4 at 2.30pm.
The Snowden stable have accepted with Snippets Land for his second start of this campaign in the November Handicap. The eight-year-old Snippetson gelding resumed with a ninth on the Heavy 9 of Randwick’s Everest meeting track on the G3 Sydney Stakes over 1200m.
Back in June Snippets Land won the listed Spear Chief Handicap over 1400m with 56kg at the Sunshine Coast. The consistent galloper has won seven of his 45 starts and with 12 placings earning stakes of $704,582.
Snippets Land has 59kg with barrier one. Top-weight is Mick Bell’s Jungle Edge with 60kg with apprentice Chelsea Hall’s 3kg allowance and they have barrier seven.
The November Handicap is Race 5 at 3.05pm.
The nine race programme commences at 12.45pm with a field of nine three-year-old’s for the $125,000, 2019 Membership Bm 76 Sprint (1100m).
Godolphin have accepted with their Lonhro colt Roheryn with Josh Parr riding and 57.5kg. The colt has won both his starts with the last a 4L demolition of his rivals over 1200m at Rosehill on November 3rd.
The track is currently rated a Good 4 and the rail will be out 6m for the entire circuit.
Sydney’s weather for the Rosehill region leading into Saturday has the possibility of showers on Wednesday afternoon and Thursday with 1mm-5mm and 25c. Friday is forecast to be cloudy with 23c and Saturday is similar with a medium (50%) chance of showers with 0mm-2mm and 15c – 22c.
