Hawkesbury’s stand-alone meeting on Saturday has 113 acceptances for the nine race programme with a field of ten for the $200,000, Group 3 Blacktown Workers Club Hawkesbury Guineas (1400m).
Joe Pride’s Choisir filly Kylease is the opening TAB.com.au favourite at $3.30 for the Guineas after the filly’s three wins from her four starts.
The last was over 1200m at Gosford on April 19th when she won with ease by 2 1/4L under Corey Brown who rides on Saturday. They have barrier three for the leap to achieve valuable black type for the filly.
Mark Newnham’s Not A Single Doubt gelding Quackerjack, a last start winner over 1300m on the Kensington track by 1 1/2L on April 3rd has barrier seven for Josh Parr. That win was Quackerjack’s first race since a spell after the spring and his fourth from ten starts.
Godolphin have accepted with Lonhro colt Ranier. The colt won the Group 3 Carbine Club Stakes over 1600m at Flemington back on November 3rd after a good winning streak in the spring. Tim Clark rides with barrier eight.
The Guineas is Race 7 at 3.30pm.
The track is rated a Good 4 with the rail to be in true position for the entire circuit.
