Trapeze Artist withdrawn from racing on Saturday

Racing NSW steward's advised on Thursday morning that Racing NSW Senior Official Veterinarian Dr Craig Suann, at the request of the Stewards and trainer Gerald Ryan, earlier on Thursday morning inspected Trapeze Artist following report from Mr Ryan that the horse was found to be lame this morning.

Dr Suann has advised that Trapeze Artist was found to be lame in the near foreleg due to an injury in the upper part of that leg. Accordingly Trapeze Artist shall be withdrawn from Saturday’s listed Sydney Stakes (1200m) and as an emergency from The Everest (1200m).
